2018: July 17th

Junior Jr. just released the video for Guns A Blazin'! With the final issue of my DwC co-host Mike Wellman and his debonair artist extraordinaire counter part Rafael Navarro's cross-time comic epic close at hand, I can't think of a better song to start my dreary Tuesday morning with.

Significance of the primary subject of this card - Knight on Horse, flying into the fray. Going toward your goal with no distraction. Funny then, that this morning I feel so distracted. Leave it to the cards to call me out on it.

2018: June 11th

My friend Duff and his band Junior Jr. released their first proper offering, Obligatory Demo, this weekend and it is fantastic. There's a rough-around-the-edges quality that might lead some folk to dismiss this out of hand, however - give it a few spins and you'll see, the song writing and performance are such that I expect Junior Jr. to evolve into a massive, massive band.

Netzach, one step down the tree from the complete beauty of Tipareth, so there's longing, and maybe anarchy. And maybe that fits my mind frame at work right now, so I'll count this as a warning to curb my destructive thoughts.

I've been meaning to post this one for a while. My friend Duf is a great example of someone taking charge of his life. A few years ago he opened a comic shop in Elizabeth City, NC. Here's their FB page. Next, recently Duf took his love of music and parlayed it into a band. They played their first show last month, and although the footage doesn't quite do them justice, here's a taste; I'm super excited to hear the album Junior Jr. makes - I think it will be outstanding based on the songs we're hearing now.
